Central Michigan University – Biochemistry Tenure-Track Position
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry invites applicants for an Assistant Professor tenure-track position. We seek a biochemist or chemist with experience and research interest in the field of biochemistry or chemical biology. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an externallyfunded research program. In addition, the appointee will be expected to mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and within the Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology (BCMB) M.S. and Ph.D. programs. Candidates should be able to teach biochemistry/BCMB courses as well as advanced courses in their area of specialty. A Ph.D. is required and relevant postdoctoral experience is strongly preferred.
