About

Metallurgical Engineer (SUMMA CUM LAUDE) and Master in Comprehensive and Quality Management, with more than 25 years of experience in the oil, gas and energy industry, in Colombia; experience that in the last 15 years has had an important emphasis on the topics of science, technology and innovation. I have assumed important leadership positions in the Innovation and Technology Center of Ecopetrol S.A., with responsibilities such as ensuring the experimental activity of laboratories and pilot plants, required by the portfolio of technological projects of this center and which is focused on responding to the global challenges of the energy transition and carbon neutrality. I have been recognized for my collective, adaptive and innovative leadership and my outstanding performance, aspects that allowed me to be appointed to carry out different temporary assignments as Director of the Innovation and Technology Center of Ecopetrol S.A. Additionally, I have skills and abilities in comprehensive and quality management issues that are essential for the development of the competitiveness of the industrial and business sector of any country, which can be used to also contribute to the competitiveness and sustainability of other industrial sectors, different from oil, gas and energy.
