Seattle Pride seeks a creative Communications Manager to lead content creation, streamline communications, and engage with the community across events, web, social media, and publications.
As Seattle Pride is a small (but mighty) team, our Communications Manager should thrive with autonomy; be ready to dive into collaborative projects and events; be a creative thinker, and be an exceptional writer and editor.
The Communications Manager works closely with Seattle Pride staff, consultants, contractors, and members of the community. The Communications Manager takes the lead on creating, scheduling, and delivering content for web, social media, newsletters, promotional materials, fundraising materials, presentations, workshops, and events and works closely with the contract PR firm. The Communications Manager supports the content creation and editing of Seattle Pride Magazine; serves as the friendly first point of contact for the public via email and phone calls; and collaborates with colleagues to coordinate work with contracted graphic designers, photographers, writers, and other contractors, seasonal employees, and volunteers. The Communications Manager is on site to support all Seattle Pride events.
